A Year In Music And Other Gigs...

I got to thinking the other day of the amount of live music and entertainment I've been able to see in the last year and I realised it's been a fantastic twelve months!

It started in September 2010 with a trip to Old Trafford and the Lancashire County Cricket ground in Manchester to see Muse supported by Band Of Skulls, Pulled Apart By Horses and Editors.

One word can describe the Muse set... WOW!!

Next, fast forward to March 2011 and an impulse buy of tickets for the Hammersmith Apollo and an evening of comedy to raise money for the Tropical Zoo in London and probably the most value for money event I've ever been to... £20 for all these comedians...

Fantastic and entertaining night out!

Now, another gap of several months and a trip to Cannock Chase in Staffordshire for 2 evenings of gigs.  The first being Erasure supported by Sophie Ellis-Bextor and the second Simple Minds supported by James Walsh.

Finally ,a trip to London town and Wembley Stadium for a vertigo enhancing seat to see Take That with the Pet Shop Boys as support.  As you can well expect, it wasn't a small show!!
